non posso negarlo. per un attimo ho tifato "katrina". lo pensavo non solo come un semplice uragano ma un sonoro schiaffo all'america. quell'america sempre pronta ad insegnare a tutti, a far la voce grossa. per poi ritrovarsi incapace di gestire le difficolta' sia fuori casa che in casa. e a farne le spese i soliti rompiscatole:i poveri. questi poveri che continuano ad essere poveri, anzi aumentano di numero, che non appaiono mai troppo sul grande schermo. da new orlens sono arrivate immagini e racconti di degrado che forse ci e' impossibile comprendere appieno. quel disatro e' ancora piu' disastro perche' ha annegato un mare di gente in miseria. "sulla classe operai piovono pietre sette giorni su sette". a new orleans e' affogato chi gia' stava con l'acqua al collo.
la piu' grande ed avanzata democrazia della parte piu' sviluppata del globo lascia morire cosi i sui cittadini piu' deboli. only the strong survive...anzi only the rich survive.
bush e tutto il "mondo" che rappresenta si sono nuovamente dimostrati nella loro pochezza.
come persone intelligenti non vogliamo credere che una "catastrofe" possa essere classista. l'america che "esporta democrazia", nel 2005, permette questo. un paese con le pezze al culo.
